It’s been a year since Active Peace was published and I started out on the book tour. What a year it’s been and how blessed I am to be able to continue promoting this approach to seeing the big picture and healing the violence and insanity.
It is gratifying that so many people have resonated with the emphasis on the belief in separateness as the root cause and the importance of paying attention to that. I myself feel that importance more than ever.
How can we expect to end the insanity and violence if we don’t address the root cause? This is a question that has been coming up lately and it’s a great litmus test. When there is a disconnect between our work for peace and justice and the root cause of the violence, that is itself separateness in play.
It is also good to know that the foundations presented in the book for healing the belief in separateness also hold up. They are road tested and so am I. Whew!
So now it feels like time for deepening, to take those practices and foundations and concepts and move more and more fully into the river of peace where there really is no us and them; where there is no separation whatsoever. Still speaking our truth, still standing up for life, but with more and more open-heartedness and a love that knows no limits. Not sentimental love, but transformational love, love as the energy that aligns with life and reflects our wholeness and brings forth the world we want.
The path of Active Peace winds on and calls me to greater clarity, honesty, integrity, and humility. I hope it calls to you too and that we will continue to meet along the way.
I thank you again for the support and offer myself in support if you ever want to connect one-on-one. I’m offering another webinar starting the first week in October for those who want to deepen into this journey and evolution of Active Peace.
I’ll close with an invitation to listen to a practice that I’ve been offering lately and really enjoy. It’s an easy way to experience the truth of our interbeing with all that is and the relaxation that comes with that.
With love and gratitude,
Scott
