G. Scott Brown talks about deep nonviolence and the four foundations of Active Peace on Boulder’s independent radio station KGNU. Healing the relationship to self through self acceptance and mindfulness, deepening the connection to nature, learning the communication and other relationship skills needed to move beyond resentment and transform conflict, and bringing all this together in a restorative, transformational approach to activism and social change is the path of Active Peace. In this interview Scott also emphasizes how the principles and practices of restorative justice can be used to address the full range of social and environmental issues.
