I just sent a personal and direct message to the White House asking the President to reject the Keystone XL pipeline. It was a simple message, didn’t take long. I hope you will do the same if you haven’t already. A decision is expected soon.

It is crystal clear to me that if we don’t ask for what we want we deserve what we get.
Here’s my letter:
Dear Mr. President,
Please reject the Keystone XL pipeline. I think it is true that in 20 years this will be the decision you made that will be most remembered. It is a pivotal decision that will set the course for our energy priorities for years to come. Rejecting the pipeline would send the message that you and your Administration are serious about climate change and offer a glimmer of hope that we still might avoid the worst effects of climate chaos. Approving it would send a message of despair, powerlessness, and disconnection from reality that will never be forgotten or forgiven.
Sincerely,
Scott Brown
